This page contains a complete scheme of work and accompanying lesson resources and plans. I created these resources for a Year 9 English class at The Gryphon School. The unit focuses on non-fiction texts, using Touching the Void as the principal example. The scheme of work was created using the Media Literacy Teacher's Toolkit and embeds a range of activities designed to develop media literacy skills and understanding, alongside the English subject content.
